It is that kind of beauty, so imperfectly perfect, that only nature can create but which men and women who live here have the duty to preserve, together with all the traditions and wisdom marked by deep furrows on their and our hands and on the hands of all the Tuscan people, who are - let's not forget - sons of the sons of the sons of the sons of Leonardo, Giotto, Michelangelo, Donatello, Brunelleschi, Vasari, Leon Battista Alberti ...
The words that we, at Terre di Perseto, hold tight and that identify us are, therefore, simply these ones: Tradition, Passion, Genuineness, Care, Resilience, Authenticity, Bonds, Territory.
Passion for things which are "well done", according to the Chianti Classico Tradition, with extreme Care and accuracy, for making a wine that expresses truthfulness and Territory, so that anyone who tastes it, wherever in the world he or she is, may be propelled back to Tuscany: to the real Tuscany of the Genuineness and of strong Bonds, so that he or she will feel in that wine all the Authenticity of a region inhabited by stubborn, obstinate and proud people, but also frank and sincere, ironic and generous ones, with a soul imbued with Resilience, because they know that this land is generous but inconstant, and that, in the face of difficulties, you just have to roll up your sleeves and, perhaps, come up with a few sarcastic jokes in order never to forget the intrinsic taste of living, which is profound, complex, enveloping and, at times, destabilizing, precisely like a glass of authentic Chianti Classico DOCG wine.

They are people who, when you look them in the eyes, you read there their love for the land and for things well done, as well as pride and resilience. They are the ones who give the name of a father or of a grandfather to a wine or to an EVO oil, because they keep the family tight around their heart, believing it to be the strong root that is the basis of everything they do...
... They are the ones who have never been to the Maldives (and they don't even care) because they already have their perfect island. And, perhaps, they do not know much about the world but they know each stone that is on their land. They are the ones who may not have taken courses as oenologists or as sommeliers, but have an innate wine culture, which flows within their blood like an additional piece of DNA...
... They are the ones who know that the ground can be benign but that it is also capricious and bears good fruit only when it is treated well. They are those whose cellars or mills were not designed by archistars, whose machinery is not hyper-technological, and yet, coincidentally, they are still able to make great wines or EVO oils, and often they win prizes and awards too...
The people of Terre di Perseto are visionaries, dreamers, daring Davids in the midst of so many giant Goliaths. And in the slingshot, instead of the stone, they put all their passion.
